-Born and raised in the capital region, YARK pulls influence from subcultures he has immersed himself in and has been exposed to. As a child, YARK was taken to his parents tattoo appointments and would flip through contemporary tattoo magazines and studied the flash art on the walls. Transitioning into a teen and dealing with life he eventually turned to skateboarding as an outlet in addition to creating art. Influenced by the illustrations from skateboard companies, CDs, tattoos, and street art, YARK had been able to train himself and obtain a unique style of his own.
